Oakington Manor Primary School

Acorn Nursery is a private Nursery based at Oakington Manor Primary School in Wembley. The nursery was established in 2000 and is rated good by OFSTED (2018). It is housed in a new innovative building providing an enriched and exciting learning environment for young children between the ages of 4 months to 4 years and 11 months.

We nurture our children to learn through the provision of an engaging, interesting and challenging environment that caters for all their learning needs as exemplified within the Early Years Foundation Stage:

• every child is a unique child, who is constantly learning and can be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured;

• children learn to be strong and independent through positive relationships;

• children learn and develop well in enabling environments, in which their experiences respond to their individual needs and there is a strong partnership between practitioners and parents and/or carers;

• children develop and learn in different ways and at different rates. The framework covers the education and care of all children in early years provision, including children with special educational needs and disabilities.
